DANIEL DUGAN

JOURNEY

At 10 years old, Daniel began his personal, meditative style of art. He drew meticulous labyrinths: “one line” that never intersects and is uniformly spaced. It was a problem-solving exercise to test his patience and precision. Like labyrinths from centuries ago, the function is a spiritual one: to quiet the mind and wander forward through the path.
Dugan has been profiled in Robb Report, the “Art Issue” of Angeleno Magazine, Numéro Netherlands, Zion St. Barth’s, and Traditional Home. El Heraldo de Mexico called him ‘El Artista de los Laberintos“ and his work has been highlighted in Architectural Digest China, The New York Post, Reforma, Quien, and the Los Angeles Times.
